Search box or catalogue groups
If you know the item description or part of the item number, please use the search box at the top
rightin the grey bar. Otherwise, you can search using the catalogue groups on the left-hand side.

Search keywords
You can enter one or more keywords. Multiple keywords generate more precise results: for example,
by entering "CI 1055 filter", you can find all filters suitable for an IH 1055 case. By entering the search
keyword "straining screw", items in the database saved under "straining screw" will also be
displayed.

Additional functions
To limit the search and therefore speed up the process, a drop-down menu on the left next to the
search box offers additional search options:

Using the general prompt "Beginning with" when searching for the keyword "Rubber" produces
results on "rubber dampers, rubber antennae, rubber tracks" etc. Similarly, using the "Ending with"
function produces items including "sealing rubber" or "tread rubber". The "Containing" prompt
searches for the keyword in any position. For example, searching for "insu" would find "insulator
band" and "strain insulator". "Exact"searches for the characters in their exact sequence and number.
For example, "cool" produces numerous hits using the other additional functions; whereas only 6
hits are produced using the "exact" function. Using the "Search according to similar keywords"
function and entering the term "shoes" displays items including "safety shoes"or "shoe plate".

Search results
The search results show how many hits were found and in which catalogue groups. You can limit
the search results to one single catalogue group with a click of the mouse. Manufacturer's brands
can also serve as selection criteria.
